RESUMO

Objective: To understand the current status of self-regulatory fatigue among gynecologic cancer chemotherapy patients and explore influencing factors. Methods: Using convenient sampling, a total of 232 gynecological cancer chemotherapy patients from two tertiary hospitals in Zhengzhou, Henan, China, were selected as study subjects from February 2023 to April 2023. General information questionnaire, Self-Regulatory Fatigue Scale (SRF-S), Strategies Used by People to Promote Health (SUPPH) Scale, Connor-Davidson resilience scale (CD-RISC) and Perceived Social Support Scale (PSSS) were employed for data collection. The data were analyzed using SPSS 26.0 software. Chi-square test and binary logistic regression were executed to explore the correlates of self-regulatory fatigue, the significance level (α) was set at 0.05. Results: The self-regulatory fatigue score of the 232 patients was 44 (36, 56). Binary logistic regression analyses revealed significant associations, demonstrating that residing in urban areas (OR=0.241, P=0.015), having no comorbidities (OR=0.158, P=0.015), increased perceived social support (OR=0.937, P=0.001), strong self-efficacy (OR=0.959, P=0.021), and heightened psychological resilience (OR=0.895, P<0.001) acted as protective factors against self-regulatory fatigue (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Patients residing in rural areas, having more than two comorbidities, lower self-efficacy and psychological resilience levels, and lower perceived social support are indicative of higher levels of self-regulatory fatigue. Identifying these influencing factors can provide references and support for developing individualized support and intervention measures to improve patients' physical and mental well-being.

Background: The parabrachial nucleus (PBN) is an important structure regulating the sleep-wake behavior and general anesthesia. Astrocytes in the central nervous system modulate neuronal activity and consequential behavior. However, the specific role of the parabrachial nucleus astrocytes in regulating the sleep-wake behavior and general anesthesia remains unclear. Methods: We used chemogenetic approach to activate or inhibit the activity of PBN astrocytes by injecting AAV-GFAabc1d-hM3Dq-eGFP or AAV-GFAabc1d-hM4Di-eGFP into the PBN. We investigated the effects of intraperitoneal injection of CNO or vehicle on the amount of wakefulness, NREM sleep and REM sleep in sleep-wake behavior, and on the time of loss of righting reflex, time of recovery of righting reflex, sensitivity to isoflurane, electroencephalogram (EEG) power spectrum and burst suppression ratio (BSR) in isoflurane anesthesia. Results: The activation of PBN astrocytes increased wakefulness amount for 4 h, while the inhibition of PBN astrocytes decreased total amount of wakefulness during the 3-hour post-injection period. Chemogenetic activation of PBN astrocytes decreased isoflurane sensitivity and shortened the emergence time from isoflurane-induced general anesthesia. Cortical EEG recordings revealed that PBN astrocyte activation decreased the EEG delta power and BSR during isoflurane anesthesia. Chemogenetic Inhibition of PBN astrocytes increased the EEG delta power and BSR during isoflurane anesthesia. Conclusion: PBN astrocytes are a key neural substrate regulating wakefulness and emergence from isoflurane anesthesia.

RESUMO

How an interfacial superconductivity emerges during the nucleation and epitaxy is of great importance not only for unveiling the physical insights but also for finding a feasible way to tune the superconductivity via interfacial engineering. In this work, we report the nanoscale creation of a robust and relatively homogeneous interfacial superconductivity (TC ≈ 13 K) on the epitaxial FeTe surface, by van der Waals epitaxy of single-quintuple-layer topological insulator Bi2Te3. Our study suggests that the superconductivity in the Bi2Te3/FeTe heterostructure is generated at the interface and that the superconductivity at the interface does not enhance or weaken with the increase of the Bi2Te3 thickness beyond 1 quintuple layer (QL). The observation of the topological surface states crossing Fermi energy in the Bi2Te3/FeTe heterostructure with the average Bi2Te3 thickness of about 20 QL provides further evidence that this heterostructure may potentially host Majorana zero modes.

Two trinuclear CuII pyrazolato complexes with a Cu3(µ3-E)-core (E = O2- or OH-) and terminal nitrite ligands in two coordination modes were characterized crystallographically, spectroscopically, and electrochemically. One-electron oxidation of the µ3-O species produces a delocalized, mixed-valent, formally CuII2CuIII-nitrite, but no nitrate. In contrast, under reducing conditions-addition of PhSH as an electron and proton donor-both complexes mediate the reduction of nitrite, releasing NO.

RESUMO

The hexa-nuclear title compound, [{Cu3(µ3-OCH3)(µ-C3H2ClN2)3}2(µ-C3H2ClN2)3(µ6-Cl)] or [Cu6(C3H2ClN2)9(CH3O)2Cl], crystallizes in the space group Pbcn, with individual mol-ecules being located on a twofold rotation axis. The mol-ecule adopts a trigonal prismatic shape, with two trinuclear units linked by three 4-chloro-pyrazolate ligand bridges by encapsulating a Cl- anion in a µ6-coordination mode. In the crystal, individual mol-ecules are stacked into rods parallel to [1-10] that are arranged in a pseudo-hexa-gonal packing. Cohesion between mol-ecules is accomplished through weak C-H⋯Cl inter-actions.

RESUMO

The mol-ecule of the title compound, C(8)H(8)N(4)O(2), is nearly planar, with a dihedral angle between the rings of 1.1 (1)°. Adjacent mol-ecules are linked into a layered structure by hydr-oxy-oxo O-H⋯O and triazol-yl-hydr-oxy N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds. Only one of the H atoms of the pyramidal amino group is engaged in building up the infinite layer. The second H atom of the amino group also shows hydrogen-bonding inter-actions, linking adjacent layers into a three-dimensional network.
